Oles compete in Luther Invite

The Oles competed in the Luther Invite this past weekend in Decorah, Iowa. Seven of the women played and finished well against some tough competition.

Bethany Kochsiek was ouor only player to play in the "A" division. She won a match and then lost in the quarterfinals to Beth Huinker of Luther.

Lindsay Gorham went all the way to the finals of the "B" tournament where she lost 6-4,7-5 to a player from Grinell.

Lindsay C. Johnson won the "B" consolation singles with a three set victory over another Grinell player.

Jennifer Ison/Jamie Brau lost in the finals of the "B" doubles to a duo from Luther.

The other two participants were Libby Douglas whose best finish was the semi-finals of "B" doubles and Kristen Buchta who got to the semi-finals of both "B" singles and "B" doubles.
