Mens tennis finishes third in MIAC conference tourney

The St. Olaf men's tennis team had a good season ending conference tournament last Friday and Saturday, May 3rd and 4th. The Oles finished in third place in the conference. This was accomplished through their strong 7-2 dual match record during the regular season and a solid conference tournament.

In the flighted conference tournament held at Gustavus the Oles had several finalists. Karl Wilbur at the number one singles flight, Tom Nagle at the number four singles flight, Dan Cohen at the number six singles flight, Tom and Ted Nagle at the number one doubles fight, and Tim Smith and Karl Wilbur at the number two doubles flight. Other participants included Brandon Hall in singles and doubles, Peder Thoen in singles, and Matt Sobieski in doubles.
