Fifth senior art show starts Sunday at St. Olaf College

NORTHFIELD, Minn. ? Eight exhibits by St. Olaf College senior art majors will be featured in the final of five shows in the annual Festival of Senior Work starting Sunday, May 6, in Steensland Art Museum.

The show is free and open to the public, with a reception from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday. Steensland Art Museum is open Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m.; Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; and Tuesday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.

The final Festival of Senior Work show will feature the art of Mark Carlson, (large paintings on canvas), Corinne Doerrfeld (mixed media drawings), James Eagan (computer art exhibit), Jason Ho (video projection), John Holm (ceramics), Amanda Puck (watercolors), Mary Reid (large paintings on paper) and Anna Swanson (wall sculpture).

Each Festival of Senior Work exhibit is a culmination of four years of study and creative effort by St. Olaf College art majors, and is a requirement for graduation.

St. Olaf College prepares students to become responsible citizens of the world, fostering development of mind, body and spirit.
