Rudd MIAC Pitcher of the Week

St. Olaf College first-year pitcher Charlie Rudd (Cannon Falls, Minn.) went 2-0 and allowed only two earned runs in 11 innings. In game two against St. John's, Rudd pitched seven innings, allowing only two hits, one walk and one earned run with seven strikeouts.
In an 18-5 game-two win over St. Thomas, Rudd pitched four innings, striking out five and allowing only one earned run.
The Oles, 27-7 overall and on a 12 game win streak, repeated as MIAC champions with an 18-2 finish. They tied an MIAC record by sweeping nine conference doubleheaders in a season.
