Oles have Strong Finish in MIAC All-Sports Competition

The Oles finished strong in the 2000-2001 MIAC All-Sports competition. A traveling All-Sports trophy is awarded to the college that accumulates the best all-sports record during the MIAC academic year.
The St. Olaf men finished in second with 109.5 points behind St. John?s University at 111. The Ole women garnered 96.5 points for a fourth place finish. Gustavus Adolphus finished in first with 115.
The Ole men collected championships in swimming, nordic ski and baseball, along with runner-up finishes in indoor and outdoor track and tennis. On the women?s side, the Oles won championships in cross country and nordic ski, and were runners-up in volleyball.
