The St. Olaf men's soccer and volleyball teams each earned at-large bids to their respective NCAA Division III tournaments Monday.

The Ole volleyball team, having its best season since 1996, will play UW-Eau Claire Thursday in Oshkosh, Wis. The NCAA appearance is the program's ninth overall and first since 2002. St. Olaf has been led by outside hitter Kim Smisek '11 and setter Kelly Prunty '11. Smisek leads the nation in kills (4.92/set) while prunty is second in assists (11.19/set). The Oles (27-4) finished third in the MIAC in the regular season and advanced to the league's tournament final.

The St. Olaf men's soccer team (13-4-2) is making its fifth NCAA appearance in school history and the first since 1999. The Oles, second in the final regional ranking, will meet UW-Whitewater in the first round of the NCAAs Saturday in River Forest, Ill.
