Santurri participates in Harvard panel
November 23, 2009
St. Olaf Professor of Religion and Philosophy Edmund Santurri recently participated in a panel discussion during the Harvard Divinity School conference on "Religion, Ethics, and Peace Honoring the Career of Professor David Little" that was co-sponsored by the Kroc Institute for International Peace Studies. For the panel, titled "Religion, Morality, and Public Policy" (one of four held during the Nov. 13-14 conference), Santurri spoke about religious appeals in public policy debate. He was joined by four faculty colleagues, including CNN commentator and former White House adviser David Gergen from the Harvard Kennedy School.
