St. Olaf student named Rotary Ambassadorial Scholar

St. Olaf student Susan Hill '09 has been named a Rotary Ambassadorial Scholar for 2009-10. Hill, a sociology/anthropology and music major, received a scholarship to spend one year in Budapest, Hungary, at Central European University studying anthropology and Eastern European culture.
The Rotary Ambassadorial Scholarship program was founded in 1947. Since then, 38,000 people from 100 different countries have studied abroad through the program. The goal of the ambassadorial scholarships is to help develop an increased international understanding and better relations between nations.
