Schrader funeral set for Monday

Funeral services for Veronica Schrader will be held on Monday, May 19, at 11 a.m. at Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church, located at 12650 Johnny Cake Ridge Road in Apple Valley. Visitation will be held at the church one hour before the service and from 4-8 p.m. Sunday evening, May 18. Buses will be available to transport students and other members of the St. Olaf community on both Sunday and Monday.

Veronica, a sophomore from Eagan, Minn., passed away early Wednesday morning, May 14, of natural causes in the room of her residence hall on campus. A graduate of Eastview High School in Apple Valley, Veronica was studying biology, chemistry and environmental studies at St. Olaf. She is survived by her parents, Michael '81 and Suzanne Withers Schrader '81, and brothers Alex and David.

On Sunday, buses will leave from the front of Buntrock Commons at 3:30 p.m. and depart Apple Valley at 6 p.m. for the return trip to campus.

On Monday, buses will leave at 9 a.m. from the front of Buntrock Commons and return after the conclusion of the luncheon that immediately follows the funeral service.
