The St. Olaf College Theatre Department will welcome actor, director and playwright David C. Mann to campus on Oct. 23 for his one-man show, Revelations of Mann. Mann recreates the trials and tribulations of a young theater teacher with the sincerity and humor of someone who never stopped learning from his students. The audience will meet a yearbook full of characters in his hilarious recollections of his first years teaching theater at a Minnesota Catholic high school.

Mann was recently named a recipient of the 2006 Bush Fellowship for Performance Art/Storytelling. He has written five original solo performances that have been performed in theaters across the Midwest and in Minneapolis at the Minnesota Fringe Festival, and other Twin Cities theaters. Revelations of Mann premiered in January 2003 in St. Paul at the Great American History Theatre and now tours nationally.

Revelations of Mann will be presented one night only in Kelsey Theater. Free tickets will be available beginning Oct. 17 and can be reserved by calling the box office at (507) 786-8987, Monday through Friday, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
