President Anderson notes college's 'energy and momentum'

A recent posting by St. Olaf President David R. Anderson '74 highlights a few developments that he calls good indicators of how St. Olaf students and alumni feel about their college.

"As I travel the country visiting with alumni, parents and friends of the college," he writes, "I am struck by a recurring theme: members of the St. Olaf family are taking pleasure in the energy and momentum they observe at their college."

The figures he cites to showcase this momentum include increased Homecoming attendance, an increase in dollars raised -- and from more people -- for the college's annual fund, $820,000 in new grants and good numbers for Admissions.
