Valhalla to perform reunion concert
April 21, 2007
Valhalla band alumni from it's decade long career will come from throughout the United States to attend and play in Saturday's concert. Special guest, James Miller, one of the founding conductors, will return to the podium.
In addition to other works, the program includes Blessed Are They by Brahms, a new work by alumnus Carl Schroeder, and a new composition by the Valhalla Band.
Valhalla is a fully-instrumented band conducted and managed by students. Their purpose is to serve and engage the St. Olaf Music Department as well as the larger Northfield community.
