Langerak talks about heart attack in Pioneer Press

Professor of Philosophy Ed Langerak's experience with a cardiac arrest, and the actions his wife and family took to save him, are the focus of a recent story in the St. Paul Pioneer Press. In an interview with the paper, Langerak and his wife, Lois, describe Ed's heart attack and subsequent quadruple bypass surgery in 2004, his conversation with a philosophy-major-turned-nurse in the hospital and the greater appreciation of life Ed has gained from the ordeal.
