St. Olaf will celebrate the dedication of a revitalized Boe Memorial Chapel during Hymn Festival, Saturday, Nov. 11, at 7:30 p.m. In addition to commemorating the reconfigured chapel interior, the event -- titled "Through the Church the Song Goes On" -- also will introduce the new Holtkamp organ and the new Lutheran hymnal, Evangelical Lutheran Worship. Elliot and Klara Stockdal Johnson Professor of Organ and Church Music John Ferguson and Artist in Residence in Music Catherine Rodland '87 will play the organ, and college pastors Bruce Benson and Jennifer Koenig will provide commentary. The St. Olaf Cantorei is scheduled to perform, along with other musicians of the St. Olaf community. The celebration continues Sunday, Nov. 12, at 10:30 with a special chapel service.
