Gisselman considered worthy of top theater award
September 18, 2006
In a recent article on the Ivey Awards Lifetime Achievement Award, Star Tribune writer Graydon Royce says of St. Olaf Artist in Residence and Artistic Director Gary Gisselman: "If decency and grace were criteria, Gisselman would win hands down." Royce adds, "Leave them aside and his qualifications still stand."
The Ivey Awards, scheduled for Sept. 25 in Minneapolis, celebrate the Twin Cities theater community. The Lifetime Achievement Award is the highest award bestowed.
