Late alumnus honored with musical tribute

A musical tribute recently was held at St. Andrew's Lutheran Church in Mahtomedi, Minn., in remembrance of Burnett "Bud" Engen '42, who died Aug. 8. After graduating from St. Olaf, Engen taught music for 38 years, including 25 years at White Bear High School. During his teaching career, Engen exposed thousands of students to the Lutheran choral tradition while cultivating an appreciation of music.
