Alumna to manage choir during Johnson's absence

After 28 years at St. Olaf, Bob Johnson, manager of the St. Olaf choir, will be taking a three-month leave of absence. Jean Strohm Parish '88 will take over Johnson's duties during this time.

Since graduating from St. Olaf, Parish has worked in arts administration, which has included management roles with the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra and the New York Philharmonic. She also has served as an independent advertising contractor on the St. Olaf Choir tour for the past five years.

Parish and her husband Doug '88 and daughter Zoe live in St. Paul, Minn.
