Taliaferro publishes collection of essays
May 15, 2006
Professor of Philosophy Charles Taliaferro has published Love, Love, Love and Other Essays: Light Reflections on Love, Life and Death, a collection of 43 philosophical essays.
Taliaferro's essays touch on themes such as the vanity, faith and friendship. They address events that are odd or embarrassing -- like sleepwalking nearly naked late at night in a major metropolitan hotel -- or tragic, like the death of a parent. "To summarize the overall goal of this collection, my aim is the exploration of different aspects of love," Taliaferro writes in his introduction.
In addition to Love, Love, Love and Other Essays, Taliaferro is the author of Contemporary Philosophy of Religion and Evidence and Faith: Philosophy and Religion Since the Seventeenth Century, as well as numerous other publications, including an essay in the May issue of the St. Olaf Magazine.
