Hofrenning writes about the Catholic vote

"Neither Democrats nor Republicans should ever mimic religious leaders, but they can find common cause with religious principles," wrote Dan Hofrenning in Tuesday's Star Tribune. His opinion piece, "The nation's changing Catholic vote," takes a look at the history of the Catholic Church in U.S. politics and how the two parties court the Catholic vote.
