Professor emeritus of musicology at the University of Oslo to give lecture

Finn Benestad, professor emeritus of musicology at the University of Oslo, will give a public lecture "Edvard Grieg and Norwegian Folk Music" at 10:45 a.m. in Urness Recital Hall. Benestad has served as chair of the Edvard Grieg Committee, is co-author of the biography Edvard Grieg: The Man and Artist and editor of the five volume set of virtually all of Grieg's extant letters.
