Karen Peterson Wilson '77 honored by theater association

Associate Professor of Theater Karen Peterson Wilson '77 has received the Outstanding Individual Award in Communication and Theater by the Communication and Theater Association of Minnesota (CTAM). Wilson, who has taught in the St. Olaf Theater Department for 25 years, has directed more than 30 productions, served as department chair and taught a wide range of classes, from "Voice and Phonetics" to "Who Owns the Arts: Censorship, Sponsorship and Artistic Freedom." Wilson received her Ph.D. in Theater Arts from the University of Minnesota and taught at Hamline University before returning to St. Olaf.
