St. Olaf continues to get kudos for efforts toward sustainable campus

"There's always been an underlying environmental consciousness on campus," says St. Olaf Professor of Biology and Curator of Natural Lands Gene Bakko. As reported in the November issue of The Lutheran, however, that mindset has evolved into concrete -- well, make that "natural" -- actions, including a food composter, a wind turbine and a commitment to support local and regional farmers.
