St. Olaf co-sponsors seminar featuring world's top business leaders

St. Olaf College recently partnered with LumaCore Inc. -- in cooperation with Fortune magazine -- to present the Luminary Series business program, "The Best of the Best," a global satellite teleconference at the Radisson Riverfront Hotel in St. Paul Nov. 2.

The realtime event was part of the world's largest training seminar and was be seen by as many as 130,000 people in more than 200 U.S. locations and 40 countries.

"As a leading liberal arts college that has always produced a steady stream of business leaders, this is a great partnership for St. Olaf," says Jan McDaniel, vice president for college relations at St. Olaf. "Co-sponsoring this program has given St. Olaf an excellent opportunity to partner with noted business organizations and bring this leading business leadership seminar to the Twin Cities."

Among the expert presenters featured at the event are former General Electric CEO Jack Welch, former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani, noted entrepreneur and creator of the Virgin brand Richard Branson and former Hewlett-Packard CEO Carly Fiorina.

LumaCore and its subsidiaries have developed many groundbreaking leadership programs, including "The Best of the Best," that have gained worldwide recognition for their contribution to corporate leadership development.
