Cellist Anthony Arnone to perform guest recital

Anthony Arnone, cello professor at the University of Iowa, will present a free recital in Urness Recital Hall at 7 p.m. Arnone will play works by J.S. Bach, Gaspar Cassado and George Crumb. Arnone, a native of Honolulu, received his bachelor of music degree from the New England Conservatory of Music where he studied with Colin Carr. In the summer, he teaches, conducts and performs at the Eastern Music Festival in Greensboro, N.C., and the Stony Brook Summer Music Festival in New York.
