Evening lecture examines China's energy woes and why America should care

An illustrated lecture by Alex Potter '03, "Beijing and Beyond: China's Energy Woes and Why We Should Care," is offered this evening at 7 p.m. in Dittmann Center, room 305. Potter, an Asian Studies and biology double-major, spent 2004 at Beijing University on a Fulbright scholarship studying energy issues. Since then he has been working in Beijing as a consultant and translator for the World Bank and other organizations. Asian Studies, Environmental Studies and the Luce Foundation sponsor tonight's lecture.
