Jane Kramer photo exhibit portrays stories of refugee women
May 29, 2005
"Photographs and Stories of Refugee Women: Perserverance, Dignity, Strength, Hope and Peace," will be on display in Buntrock Commons, lower level hallway through Commencement weekend. The photos were taken by Jane Kramer of Minneapolis as she worked as an English as a Second Language (ESL) instructor in a nursing assistant training program for new Americans in St. Paul, Minn. It was there that Kramer met the five women whom she photographed for this project. The exhibit is free and open to the public.
