by Sandra Gilderhus
May 12, 2005

Colonel Kevin Larson was the Deputy Commander for Civil Military Operations for one-fourth of Kosovo. Larson will talk about the training and deployment of U.S. soldiers, the duties of the U.S. and international forces during their peacekeeping mission in the Province of Kosovo at 11:30 a.m. in Buntrock Commons, Viking Theater. A slide presentation will help the audience understand the ongoing situation of ethnic tensions, unemployment and education. Larson, a maintenance mechanic at St. Olaf for 14 years, has a part-time career as a member of the Minnesota Army National Guard for over 29 years. The lecture is free and open to the public.
