Syttende Mai to be celebrated with traditional Norwegian breakfast

A traditional Norwegian breakfast will be hosted by the St. Olaf College Norwegian Department and the Norwegian House in celebration of Syttende Mai on May 17. The special breakfast will feature a variety of Norwegian breads, cheeses, meats, fish, waffles, pastries and fruit. Entertainment will be provided by Norwegian Department faculty and students and by the Lars Skjervheim Spelemannslag Hardanger Fiddle group. The breakfast will be served from 7 to 9 a.m. in the Buntrock Commons, Kings' Room. Cost: $10 per person and reservations can be made by calling 507-646-3230.
