Annual 'Women as Leaders' event to expand, in collaboration with MCDC
April 8, 2005
The third annual "Women as Leaders" forum for Twin Cities-area alums, to be held Tuesday, April 19, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Hotel Sofitel in Bloomington, will focus on generational issues at work. St. Olaf student musicians will provide entertainment.
The event, featuring former radio commentator and nationally known financial adviser Erica Whittlinger, will expand this year and merge with the MultiCultural Development Center's annual "Women's Leadership Forum."
Whittlinger, who will address the topic "Generations Colliding at Work," is familiar to public radio listeners as a frequent guest on "Sound Money." She left Whittlinger Capital Management several years ago to co-found the Refirement Group, which focuses on positive change in career and life paths.
St. Olaf alumni will get the MCDC member rate of $40 for the three-course meal. The event, co-sponsored by Fredrickson Human Resources Consulting and Seagate Technology, also is open to the public. To register, visit the MCDC website.
