Jerusalem Women Speak: Three Women, Three Faiths, One Shared Vision tour comes to St. Olaf

by Sandra Gilderhus
April 5, 2005

Three women peacemakers, Nina Mayorek, Aitemad Muhanna and Diana Kattan, are living the reality of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, and will share their experiences and hopes for a just peace, in their 7 p.m. presentation in Rolvaag Library, room 525. The "Jerusalem Women Speak: Three Women, Three Faiths, One Shared Vision," sponsored by Partners for Peace has toured nine times since 1998.

This is a unique opportunity to hear the personal side of this painful conflict from women whose lives have been shaped by violence, occupation and the renewed possibility of substantive Israeli-Palestinian negotiations. The lecture is free and open to the public.
