Ventura draws 1,000 students to boisterous speech on current events

In his first college appearance in Minnesota since leaving the governor's mansion, former wrestler and movie actor Jesse Ventura touched on a variety of topics in his April 4 appearance on campus, including the war in Iraq, the First and Second Amendments, the media's shortcomings and his own generation's hypocrisy. Star Tribune reporter Dane Smith was among many journalists covering the speech.
