Anton Armstrong to perform at United Theological Seminary

Anton Armstrong '78 will present "African American Spirituals: Expressions of Spirituality" at United Theological Seminary in New Brighton, Minn. on Thurs., April 7 at 7:30 p.m.

Armstrong will provide practical performance suggestions for singers, choral directors, and worship leaders. The evening will culminate with the audience joining voices in jubilant song.

Anton Armstrong is the Harry R. and Thora H. Tosdal professor of music at St. Olaf and the conductor of the St. Olaf Choir. He is an active guest conductor and lecturer throughout North America, Europe, Scandinavia, Korea, Singapore, Australia, New Zealand, and the Caribbean.
