by Sandra Gilderhus
March 4, 2005

Cantus, a full-time male vocal ensemble founded in 1995 by four students at St. Olaf College, is celebrating its 10th anniversary. A concert on March 4, at 7:30 p.m., at St. Olaf Catholic Church in Minneapolis, in collaboration with the St. Olaf Choir will bring the two groups together for the first time in the Twin Cities. Both ensembles will perform their own repertoire and conclude the concert with three pieces sung together, including F. Mellius Christiansen's version of "Beautiful Savior" as it was first arranged for male voices.

Tickets, $25, adults; $10, students, are available online at Ticket Works or by calling 612-343-3390. Group rates and quantity discounts are available.
