Music faculty Jo Ann Polley, clarinet, and Lori Ronning Folland, piano, will perform together on Monday, Sept. 16, in a recital that includes something for everyone. The performance, at 7 p.m. in Urness Recital Hall, Christiansen Hall of Music, is free and open to the public. The program of French music includes Devienne?s Sonatas No. 1 and No. 2; Rameau, Suite; Litaize, Recitative, Theme and Variations; and the Bozza, Bucolique. These compositions, which range from the 17th century to the 20th century, are pieces that the "general audience can enjoy greatly," says Polley. The selections have another thing in common. Each is included on a CD that Polley and Folland recorded in May and which will be available in the St. Olaf Bookstore in several weeks.
