Author Kevin Crossley-Holland to read from new book Sept. 24

Award winning author Kevin Crossley-Holland will read from his new young adult book "At the Crossing-Places" on Tuesday, Sept. 24, 7 p.m. at the Northfield Arts Guild. Crossley-Holland, a visiting scholar at St. Olaf who taught courses in poetry and Anglo-Saxon literature (1989-90), also will give a talk on Anglo-Saxon writing at 4:30 p.m. in St. Olaf Library 525. The reading and afternoon lecture are free and open to the public. Crossley-Holland?s visit is sponsored by the St. Olaf Bookstore and is the first in its "Meet the Authors" fall series.
