World Wide Service Fair offers domestic and international service opportunities

Carole Engblom
February 25, 2003

The World Wide Service Fair, in its third year and sponsored by the Office of International and Off-Campus Studies, brings to campus representatives from more than a dozen international and domestic service organizations, including the Peace Corps, Lutheran Volunteer Corps, the Red Cross and the Salvation Army. The objective of the service fair is two-fold. One is to give information to St. Olaf students who are interested in pursuing a career in service following graduation, and the other is to offer opportunities for individuals interested in volunteer work. Booths and exhibits will be set up in Buntrock Commons Crossroads from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Eric Tostrud '87 will be the chapel speaker.
