Professor of Philosophy Charles Taliaferro has three new books out that examine varying aspects of philosophy.

Aesthetics: A Beginner's Guide discusses theories of art and beauty in a short introduction to a broad and complex topic. A Brief History of the Soul, which he co-authored with Stewart Goetz, talks about Western philosophy and a range of philosophies of the soul. And Turning Images in Philosophy, Science, and Religion: A New Book of Nature, which he co-edited with Jil Evans, examines the debate between theism and naturalism through reflection on imagination and aesthetics.
