A library unlike any other

Professor Emeritus of Political Science Jack Schwandt begins his new book about the Kierkegaard Library by noting that it is "unlike any library in Minnesota, the United States, or the world." From there, the book — titled The Hong Kierkegaard Library: A Crown Jewel of St. Olaf College — describes what makes this research library founded by Howard and Edna Hong so unique.

The book includes information about the scholars and students that utilize the library's resources, the mutually beneficial relationship between the college and the library, and a brief history of the Hongs. It is available for purchase at the St. Olaf Bookstore.
