Extreme Costume
Description
The Extreme Costume project was located in Veletržní Palace - National Gallery where the International Competitive Exhibition was located and included the exhibition of costumes, performance videos and live presentations.
The works featured were costumes that were, as the name indicates, Extreme. Extreme in materials, form, style, structure, or composition. The representative costumes are exhibited outside their original performance context to be considered as art objects in themselves. The costumes come from theatre as well as those used in visual art exhibitions or media pieces.
