PQ for Children
Description
Programming for children at the Prague Quadrennial for Performance design and space is a 
tradition that has continued through many of the past PQ events. PQ2015 included space for primary and secondary-school students and families with children.
The primary image idea for 2015 was the umbrella and students were invited to work with an umbrella as an object of scenography in the GUD Art Gallery for Children near Kafka’s House in Prague. PQ2015 provided guided tours and workshop sessions for individuals, families and student groups. The goal was to introduce scenography to the children and give them chances to create project work. They were invited to choose their favorite scenography exhibits as part of the Children’s Audience Award.
