Minnesota-Manitoba

Strong linkages between climate, vegetation migration, fire, and a variety of ecosystem processes suggest the possibility of non-linear responses and lags in response to climate change along N-S latitudinal gradients that can be examined using the paleoecological record present in lakes and bogs. This project is directed by Dr. Phil Camill (Carleton College) and is funded by a grant from NSF.
