Sitta, the legendary Sukuma prophet, left his portrait on a great
rock at Gabu,
near Bariadi, northwestern Tanzania. It is a truly remarkable sight.
Nearby, there
are a number of other sights and monuments, such as his grave and his
wife's grave,
the rocks that used to be his cattle, the high pointed rock on which
he used to sit, holes
of a "bao" game he made on a rock, and nails he fixed securely on a
rock.
