This particular version of the placement survey is for students who have never studied / used Spanish in any classroom or non-classroom setting and plan to take Spanish at St. Olaf. For more information about the survey, see the summary page.

If there's any Spanish class in your high school transcript, please proceed to the other survey.

Important: If your school transcripts show prior Spanish coursework and you complete Survey 1 instead of Survey 2 (for students with Spanish experience), your survey will be deleted. You will be required to complete Survey 2, which may delay your registration and limit course availability.
