Prabal Adhikari is a theoretical physicist studying the strong force, described by Quantum Chromodynamics (QCD), using effective field theory techniques (and models) in various external environments including magnetic fields, finite temperatures, and finite isospin and baryon chemical potentials. He has taught a variety of courses across the physics curriculum including Quantum Field Theory, Classical Mechanics, Statistical Mechanics, Musical Acoustics, Advanced Lab, Special Relativity and Waves. He is a proponent of introducing ideas traditionally considered "difficult" to students at a young age and has involved numerous undergraduate and high school students in research and scientific publications.
