Gabrielle Agbényiga is an Academic Advisor with St. Olaf College’s TRIO Educational Talent Search (ETS) Program, where she supports high school students at Community of Peace Academy through academic advising, college and career readiness programming, and financial aid navigation. In her role, she designs and facilitates classroom workshops, coordinates college access initiatives, and provides individualized support to help students successfully prepare for postsecondary education.
Gabrielle is currently pursuing a Master of Development Practice (MDP) at the University of Minnesota’s Humphrey School of Public Affairs, with a focus in economic development. Her academic and professional interests center on educational equity, college access for underrepresented students, and the intersection of community-based support systems and long-term student success. She brings experience working with youth, college students, and historically underrepresented communities through roles in mentoring and stufent affairs roles, higher education advising, research, and community-engaged initiatives both domestically and internationally. Gabrielle received her Bachelors of Science in Economics & Women and International Development from St. Catherine Unveristy.
