In her current position, she combines those interests, working mainly with international students in their first years on campus.
"I have lived in Northfield since 2006 when my family and I moved here from Washington, DC. We love being in this very walkable community with its vibrant downtown and beautiful river. My favorite parts of St. Olaf College are the landscaping, the buildings that have huge windows and majestic views, my dedicated and impressive colleagues, and... my students! In the first-year courses that I teach, I get to know students from around the world, and it's a highlight of my days to hear their stories, help them navigate this campus, and watch them grow and learn while they are here."
