Nathan began working at St. Olaf in Fall 2020. Nathan grew up in Chicago, Illinois. He obtained his bachelors degree in Psychology from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. Prior to joining the Piper Center, Nathan worked as a Student Mentor for the National Society of Leadership and Success. After moving to Minnesota to pursue his masters in College Counseling & Student Development at St. Cloud State University, Nathan's experiences in higher education involved work in Career Services and Academic Advising department/offices as well as working with students on Academic Probation & Suspension. He is currently a member of many Minnesota professional organizations such as MCPA and MCDA. Nathan's role at St. Olaf is to help students find their passion while developing their interest in social Impact and non-profit sectors as well as working with the Peer Advisors. He is very passionate about helping students on their path to success through a sense of empathy, motivation, and resilence.
