I am very excited to be the Associate Director for International Student Programming!  I have worked in higher education supporting international and domestic students of color for eleven years.  As a Low Income First Generation college student, who was fortunate to be a POSSE & TRIO Scholar, I truly find fulfillment in work that helps provide the tools and support for underrepresented students in order for them to find their voice and purpose within communities. I center my leadership and mentorship around creating programs that support community building and educational opportunities that focus on issues of belonging and well-being.

I love having opportunities to engage and empower students as they navigate their college experience.  My work has revolved around topics of equity, diversity, and inclusion, and I am thankful for having the opportunity to support students from all over the world in their journey through higher education.  Cultural adjustment and creating a home away from home are a part of finding a holistic balance to having a successful college experience.
