Hello and Welcome!

My name is Brandon and I am excited to serve as your Director of Student Activities here at St. Olaf! I love my job because I have the joy of getting to work with you from your very first days on campus through your final moments before your graduation and everything in between. My team and I are all about making connections and moments. Whether it will be through your New Student Orientation experience, the student organizations you'll join, the social events you'll attend with friends, or the leadership opportunities you'll explore, we are here to guide you and cheer you on every step of the way.

I have two St. Olaf stories: one as a student and one as a staff member. Born and raised in Minnesota, I graduated from St. Olaf in 2016 with degrees in Music and Psychology. While on campus, I was involved in the Student Government Association, worked in Residence Life, sang with multiple choirs, and did undergraduate research. My time outside of the classroom lead me to pursue my M.S. in Student Affairs in Higher Education at Miami University in Ohio and a career at Washington University in St. Louis. I returned to the Hill in 2019 and have been working to support Oles in their co-curricular endeavors ever since. Outside of work, I love to bake, hike, sing, and travel!

If any parts of my story sound interesting to you or you're just looking to connect with a friendly face on campus, set up a time to chat with me - I look forward to it! I can be found in Buntrock Commons 108 in the Office of Student Activities. If you smell popcorn, follow your nose and you'll find us!
