She also assists with managing and improving the quality of data created for research projects, and looking at different methods of designing and visualizing the data. She started at St. Olaf College in October 2018 and works on a variety of projects in DiSCO and IT.
She enjoys exploring different types of Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR) projects, one of which is the AR Sandbox now available in the DiSCO for the campus community. She has a BA in Liberal Arts from the University of Wisconsin - River Falls (2009: major - political science, minor - GIS and music) and a MS in Geographic Information Systems from Saint Mary's University of Minnesota - Twin Cities (2014: emphasis in homeland security).
In free time outside of work, Sara likes to sketch, read books with a variety of genres, watch anime, play music (violin), and listen to NPR (and sometimes watch C-SPAN). She also plays tabletop games and online video games with friends.
